Jason Aldean Isn’t Wearing His Wedding Ring, and His Wife Has Strong Feelings About It
Don’t be shocked if you see Jason Aldean sporting a rubber ring instead of his wedding ring. As it turns out, the country star is using the rubber one to let the ladies know he’s still off the market–but while keeping his finger safe.
You see, Aldean is at risk for “ring avulsion,” or quite literally, getting his finger ripped off, if he wears his real metal wedding ring during some of his favorite activities.
Softball, hunting, golf, and even playing his beloved guitar carry the risk. But the rubber ring doesn’t.
He said, “If it gets hung on something instead of ripping my finger off, the rubber ring will just rip.”
No wonder why his wife is okay with it!
