  • The singer styled her ACM look with heirloom jewelry and classic Tony Lama boots
  • Jenna Paulette also opened up about rediscovering her song “High Noon."

When Jenna Paulette stepped onto the red carpet at the 61st annual Academy of Country Music Awards, she didn’t just turn heads—she told a story. In a flowing brown gown topped with a statement cowgirl hat shaped by her own husband’s hands, the rising country star reminded us that the most meaningful style isn’t about price tags or designer labels. It’s about heritage, heart and the people who help us feel beautiful.

For women who treasure family keepsakes and personal touches, Paulette’s look was a refreshing change of pace—proof that authenticity always shines brighter than anything off the rack.

A hat shaped with love

In an industry where celebrity stylists swoop in with last-minute designer loans, Paulette did something wonderfully different. She wore a hat her husband shaped just for her.

“I was lucky enough to find a hat that matches,” Paulette said. “Normally, mine is very dirty, so it’s fun to wear a new one, a clean one, and my husband shaped it for me.”

Heirloom jewelry that tells a story

The rest of Paulette’s ensemble carried the same sentimental spirit. Every piece had meaning, and every detail honored the women who came before her.

“And then I’ve got turquoise matching set for earrings, and my bracelet, and cuffs, and then all heirloom jewelry for everything else, and Tony Lama boots,” she said.

Turquoise has long held a treasured place in Western fashion, with deep significance in the American Southwest and among Indigenous communities.

And Tony Lama boots, crafted in El Paso, Texas, for more than a century, remain a benchmark of authentic Western style. Together, the elements created a look that felt less like a costume and more like a continuation of a life lived in the saddle and on the stage.

The song that almost got away

Beyond the red carpet moments, Paulette’s appearance came during a meaningful stretch of her career. Her new single “High Noon” is gaining momentum—and she nearly forgot it existed.

“We wrote that song a long time ago, before I had a record deal, before I had a publishing deal, and somebody from our record label, Daniel Lee, who is the head of A and R for Leo 33 found that song was like Jenna, what about High Noon, and I was like, oh my gosh, I hadn’t even thought about it in a long time, and so we cut it,” Paulette said.

It’s a beautiful reminder that good things often come back around when the timing is right. How many of us have set aside a dream, a project or an idea—only to have it resurface at exactly the right moment? Paulette’s story is proof that nothing meaningful is ever truly lost.
