You know Jenni Farley, a.k.a. JWoww, as the icon from MTV’s Jersey Shore and now Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. As a beloved TV personality and entrepreneur, Farley has always been known for keeping it real and that extends to her life behind the scenes of the reality show.

Farley has recently partnered up with Too Good & Co., a yogurt company known for also keeping it real when it comes to healthier ingredients and a low sugar content, something Farley supports.

“I’ve been a fan of theirs and I shop in the yogurt section buying it all the time, especially for the kids,” she shared with Woman’s World. “It’s just so surreal when I’m able to work with brands that I love on a personal level, because it makes it 10 times better for me.”

And with back-to-school season right around the corner, Farley is busy getting her two kids—daughter Meilani and son Greyson—ready, which is why she is thrilled about the partnership.

“Everything is so last minute with my daughter,” she said. “I can wake her up two hours early, and she still somehow comes down like 14 seconds before the bus. So, when it comes to breakfast, it’s a [Too Good] pouch out the door.”

After a long summer, it can be hard for kids to get back into the swing of things, especially learning how to get up at an early hour again. But Farley has a foolproof method that gets her kids prepared.

“Two weeks leading up to it [school starting], I’m going to start regulating their bedtime to prep them, so it’s not such a shock of waking up at 6 am,” she shared. “And we have to go back to school shopping. I’m waiting for the necessity list from the teachers, so when that hits, then we’re going to do the shopping.”

She also added, “My daughter is a huge fashionista, so I know she’s going to break my bank… Thankfully, my son will wear whatever but my daughter, she’s a hard one to impress, so she’s gonna have me working overtime.”

JWoww is keeping it real as a parent

Everyone has that moment as a parent when it feels like everything is going wrong and you can’t do anything right, and Farley understands that sentiment. Parenting can be one of the most difficult things to conquer, but according to Farley, it’s all about balance.

“You know what’s crazy? You’re never gonna get it right,” she shared. “But that’s okay. The balance is if you’re doing really good at work, then you feel like you’re going to fail as a parent. If you’re really good at parenting, you feel like you’re going to fail at work. There’s always that back and forth. But for me, it’s always just trying to stay present. I try to be a friend as much as a parent, and I’m trying to find the balance, but you never get it right.”

Jersey Shore: Family Vacation is currently in its eighth season, having begun in 2018 after a six-year hiatus from Jersey Shore. And despite it being a bit different than the original series, Farley is loving every minute of it.

Jersey Shore is crazy,” she said of the show’s current season. “I feel like this season was a love letter to Jamaica…which is so beautiful… And this season is one of my favorites. I don’t know why there’s, like, less drama. It’s more about our everyday work life, but there’s just so many little intricate parts that I’m so proud of.”

But while JWoww will always be associated with Jersey Shore, the multi-hyphenate is adding a few more titles to her name, including writer and director.

“I’m editing Nanny Cam, [a film she wrote and directed], which is a psychological thriller about a mother suffering from postpartum psychosis. It really hits home on motherhood, mental illness and what’s real and not real,” Farley explained. “And for me, I really want it to be a conversational piece about mental illness following motherhood. Katie Cassidy (Arrow, Monte Carlo) is my lead and she’s absolutely incredible. She really took this script that I wrote and brought it to such an insane level. I’m so proud of her and what we created.”
