Key Takeaways

  • Mark Ruffalo has three kids—a son and two daughters—with his wife, Sunrise Coigney.
  • Mark Ruffalo's oldest, his son Keen, has already started leaving his mark in Hollywood.
  • His two daughters, Bella and Odette, live quieter lives outside of the spotlight.

Over the years, Mark Ruffalo has shown the world that he can shine brightly as a romantic lead, stealing hearts in 13 Going on 30 (2004), while also bringing enough intensity to the screen that fans have loved his work as the Hulk in the Avengers films (catch him in Spider-Man: Brand New Day this July!). Though his success in front of the camera has been seemingly endless, it’s the life he’s cultivated behind-the-scenes with his wife, Sunrise Coigney, and three children Keen, Bella and Odette, that means the most. Here, read all about his children—and find out which of his kids are following in his famous footsteps!

Mark Ruffalo and Sunrise Coigney’s oldest, Keen, has already begun leaving his mark in Hollywood. As a teen, he made appearances in a few of his father’s films including Begin Again (2013) and Thor: Ragnarok (2017), and though he hasn’t shied away from sharing the screen with his dad in more recent years—the young actor appearing in Task alongside the elder Ruffalo—he’s begun forging his own path.

This August, he’ll appear in the Prime Video series Sterling Point, which tells the story of a teenage girl whose mysterious grandfather leaves her an island when he passes. Later in the summer, catch him in Nimrods, a comedy film inspired by Green Day. At the film’s premiere at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival, Keen opened up to iHeart Radio Canada about the acting advice his dad has given him.

“Consistency,” he revealed. “You have to do so many auditions. Eventually you’re going to land one. I had to go through so many before I even got this one, and it’ll start to pick up after that. But it’s alot, it takes alot, and it sometimes sucks and it’s hard to keep that up after getting told no so many times, but after however many you do, you’re going to find one that’s perfect.”

Bella Ruffalo, 21

Mark Ruffalo’s second eldest, Bella, stays out of the limelight for the most part, but she’s made a few public appearances over the years alongside her famous family. Though she isn’t necessarily getting in on the family business, her famous dad still has endless pride in her, sharing a sweet tribute to social media back in 2024 in honor of her 19th birthday.

Happy 19th Birthday, Bella Noche. I admire your courage, strength, intellect and grace. It’s been an amazing year full of so much growth and discovery. Look forward to what this next year will bring on your incredible journey.”

Odette Ruffalo, 18

Similar to her sister, Mark’s youngest daughter, Odette, stays out of the public eye, but he’s shared the love for his littlest on social media over the years as well. In 2022, he showcased her artistic side, posting a photo of a piece of artwork she made him on Instagram. “Odette made this for me,” he wrote in the caption. “It made me so happy. Any act of kindness from a teenager toward their parent is something that must be celebrated.”

From Keen’s blossoming acting career to Bella’s private journey and Odette’s artistic talents, Mark Ruffalo’s three children are carving their own unique paths—and their dad couldn’t be prouder.
