Taylor Frankie Paul rose to fame thanks to #MomTok, her role in The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and in her own right as an influencer. Now, the reality star is ready to hand out her final rose as she was just announced as the newest Bachelorette.

No details have been released on when the show will air, but the announcement was made on the most recent episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, hosted by Alex Cooper, where Paul shared her feelings about the new role.

Surreal,” Paul said of how she feels being named the Bachelorette. “It has not hit me right now in this moment. I’m just thinking about it, and it’s not real. And it’s not going to be until I think the limo is pulling up, you know? And meeting the people.”

Taylor Frankie Paul will be the lead of the 22nd season of The Bachelorette, following the season led by Jenn Tran. Paul, who has her own role on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, will be the first bachelorette to lead the series who isn’t a part of Bachelor Nation.

Before she embarks on her new journey, get to know the mom of three, Taylor Frankie Paul.

Taylor Frankie Paul’s three kids

In 2017, Paul became a mother for the first time to daughter Indy May, who was born on August 31, 2017. She welcomed her first child with her then-husband, Tate Paul. She often shared photos of her and her daughter wearing matching outfits and celebrating big milestones.

On June 18, 2020, the couple welcomed their second child, son Ocean. But just two years after his birth, they announced they would be divorcing after she had an “emotional affair” and the #MomTok scandal.

It wasn’t long after their divorce that Paul began dating Dakota Mortensen, and the two became parents to their own son, Ever, on March 19, 2024. But the couple split up just months after Ever’s birth.

Paul began posting on TikTok around 2020, typically sticking to lifestyle content. Slowly, she gained popularity for her own page and soon she began the #MomTok group, which included Paul and other Mormon mothers creating content together.

The page exploded, specifically after it was revealed that some of the #MomTok creators were involved in a “soft-swinging” scandal with other Mormon couples. While the couples involved had specific rules to follow, Paul revealed that she had broken those rules and had an emotional affair with someone else involved.

Following the scandal, Paul and the other #MomTok creators were cast on the reality series, which currently has two seasons and more episodes in its future. But for now, Taylor Frankie Paul is trading her TikTok account for a few gowns and a rose.
