We all watch our favorite daytime dramas for the plot… right?

Okay, now that it’s just the real soap opera fans, we know that we’re watching our favorite soaps for the hunky studs that walk onto our screens every day. From daytime veteran Thorsten Kaye in a variety of your favorite dramas to Joshua Morrow and Ronn Moss’ nearly 30-year stints, we can’t get enough of these guys.

1. Thorsten Kaye

Soap Operas: One Life to Live (1996-1997), Port Charles (2000-2003), All My Children (2004-2011) and The Bold and the Beautiful (2012-2024) You know him best as Ridge Forrester in The Bold and the Beautiful and Zach Slater in All My Children (among others), which means you probably also know he deserves a top spot on the soap opera hunk list. Kaye is a daytime veteran, starring in four of the best dramas, and is still a beloved soap star!
2. Scott Clifton

Soap Operas: General Hospital (2003-2007), One Life to Live (2009-2010) and The Bold and the Beautiful (2010-2024) We know you’re just as obsessed with Scott Clifton as we are! He’s best known for portraying Liam Spencer on The Bold and the Beautiful, as well as General Hospital’s Dillon Quartermaine and One Life to Live’s Schuyler Joplin, and has done a good job doing so. If you’re not obsessed with Clifton’s characters, are you even watching your daily daytime dramas?
3. Darin Brooks

Soap Operas: Days of Our Lives (2005-2010) and The Bold and the Beautiful (2013-2024) This Hawaii-born soap star has swept the floor portraying Max Brady in Days of Our Lives and again as Wyatt Spencer in The Bold and the Beautiful (with a brief appearance in The Young and the Restless). This soap opera hunk has been in the game for nearly two decades, making Darin Brooks completely deserving of being on this list.
4. Greg Vaughn

Soap Operas: The Young and the Restless (2002-2003), General Hospital (2003-2009) and Days of Our Lives (2012-2024) You might recognize him from his time as Diego Guittierez on The Young and the Restless, Lucky Spencer on General Hospital or Eric Brady on Days of Our Lives. But you might also remember him from one of these hit TV dramas he’s appeared in: Baywatch (1996), Beverly Hills, 90210 (1996-97), Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997), Charmed (1999-2000), Will & Grace (2002) (his only identifier is “cute guy,” which tracks) and Sabrina the Teenage Witch (2002). We know you love Greg Vaughn in at least one of his memorable roles!
5. John Stamos

John Stamos (1984) Bob Riha Jr / Contributor / Getty

Soap Opera: General Hospital (1982-1984) Have mercy! Before he was the hunky Uncle Jesse on Full House, John Stamos was the adorable Blackie Parrish on General Hospital. Stamos has since become one of America’s favorite heartthrobs, not only as a star actor but also rocking out on stage. Stamos is a talented musician (I mean, remember his rendition of “Forever” on Full House?) and often plays tunes with The Beach Boys (yes, the Beach Boys)! We love Uncle Jesse — uh, we mean soap star Blackie.
6. Joshua Morrow

Soap Opera: The Young and the Restless (1994-2024) He’s been portraying heartthrob Nicholas Newman on The Young and the Restless for 30 years now (!), allowing us to see him transform into a silver fox. As a significant character for three decades, we couldn’t let this list go on without including Joshua Morrow, as he’s a fan favorite in the soap world!
7. Tom Selleck

Soap Opera: The Young and the Restless (1974-1975) Talk about heartthrobs! The heartthrob, Tom Selleck, was once a soap star on The Young and the Restless as Jed Andrews, and it gave the world the first taste of his charming personality and obvious good looks before we knew him as Thomas Magnum in Magnum, P.I., which we are thoroughly grateful for.
8. Ronn Moss

Soap Opera: The Bold and the Beautiful (1987-2012) Before there was Thorsten Kaye, The Bold and the Beautiful had the hunky Ronn Moss as Ridge Forrester. Although he left the show in 2012 and was replaced, Ronn Moss will forever hold his place as one of our favorite soap opera hunks. And if that’s not enough, he’s also a talented musician, which just adds to his already obvious attractiveness.
9. David Fumero

David Fumero (1999) Barry King / Contributor / Getty

Soap Opera: One Life to Live (1998-2012) Cristian Vega is easily one of the hunkiest soap opera characters ever and remains so today, even though David Fumero is no longer on the soap. The One Life to Live star offered enough in his 14 years on the daytime drama to keep us fans for life!
10. Justin Hartley

Justin Hartley (2005) Stephen Shugerman / Stringer / Getty

Soap Operas: Passions (2002-2006) and The Young and the Restless (2014-2016) He debuted on-screen in Passions as Fox Crane, and we’ve been obsessed ever since. Although he left the series in 2006, he returned to the world of soaps in 2014 as Adam Newman/Gabriel Bingham in The Young and the Restless. This was, of course, before he became “The Manny” on This is Us and caught major attention from the world. (If you know him as “The Manny,” we don’t need to say anymore).
11. Evan Hofer

Soap Opera: General Hospital (2022-2024) As one of the newer soap stars, Evan Hofer has been making a name for himself as Dex Heller on General Hospital since 2022. Even though the actor is only 27, he deserves to make it on our soap opera hunks roundup!
12. Paul Walker

Soap Opera: The Young and the Restless (1992-1993) Before he was Brian O’Conner in The Fast and the Furious, Paul Walker was stealing our hearts as Brandon Collins in The Young and the Restless. The actor was only 19 when he began starring on the soap, instantly becoming a fan favorite. Although he only appeared in 32 episodes, he was memorable enough to make our soap opera hunks list. Paul Walker sadly died in a car accident in 2013 at the age of 40. RIP Paul Walker.
