Tanya Tucker Cancels Shows After ‘Accident’

Our thoughts and prayers are with country singer Tanya Tucker after an unfortunate accident has forced her to postpone some shows.
The Emporia Gazette reported that Tucker fractured her L1 vertebrae and suffered a rib injury when she fell during her tour. She is recovering at a hospital in Texas, but unfortunately, doctors discovered she was also suffering from bronchitis and needed treatment. Fortunately, Tucker’s injuries don’t require surgery.
The Oklahoma legs of her tour have been postponed including planned stops in Emporia, Tulsa, and Grant.
“We’ve been having a blast with the band and fans on the road and I’m so mad this happened,” said Tucker in a statement. “I was really looking forward to seeing all the Okies and fans in Kansas this week, but we have to postpone the shows. I’ll do my very best to make it up for y’all. Let’s hope for no more accidents this year and I look forward to a great 2017.”
We’re sending wishes for a speedy recovery!
