Below, we’ve rounded up Florence Pugh’s most iconic roles that have helped pave the path for her success and share how she really feels about them. Keep scrolling for more.

‘Black Widow’ (2021)

SYNOPSIS: Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) decides to confront her past and reunite with her family, including her super spy sister Yelena (Pugh).

FLORENCE PUGH’S  THOUGHTS: “So many people in the indie film world were really pissed off at me. They were like, ‘Great, now she’s gone forever.’ And I’m like, no, I’m working as hard as I used to work. I’ve always done back-to-back movies. It’s just people are watching them now. You just have to be a bit more organized with your schedule.”

‘Don’t Worry Darling’ (2022)

SYNOPSIS: A woman begins to wonder if her perfect 1960s lifestyle is nothing but smoke and mirrors.

CHARACTER: Alice Chambers

FLORENCE PUGH’S  THOUGHTS: We met so many talented people, visited some insane locations, worked hard in the desert dust and looked good whilst doing so…Thank you to all those who have bought tickets and those who have already seen it — whenever I watch massive impressive movie moments on massive screens, I always remind myself that there is a [sound] boom just inches from the frame I’m watching….Explosions, car chases, cocktail balancing, underwater sequences, running, drinking, more running…This film was such an epic story on such a large scale to shoot, all while during peak Covid times.”

And I was like, ‘Doesn’t matter. Even if I’m a coffee maker at a café in the back of the room, let’s do it.’”

FLORENCE PUGH’S  THOUGHTS:I think being a part of a movie that is this impressive and this huge, knowing that we are a part of something unbelievably special that people will be watching for years and years and years to come, it’s a very unique situation that we’re all in. It’s an unbelievably special moment in time for all of us to be releasing something as epic as this movie and knowing that it’s going to continue the love and the journey. Yeah, it’s a huge feeling. Very grateful feeling.”
