The Hallmark Channel is certainly the network of love, so it’s no wonder countless actors who bring our favorite films to life have found romance off-screen as well as on. Here, take a look at some of our favorite swoon-worthy Hallmark real-life couples.
Stephen Huszar and Katie Cassidy
Stephen Huszar has long been a face we love to see on the Hallmark Channel. From starring in holiday films like Navigating Christmas (2023), Undercover Holiday (2022), and Time for Us To Come Home for Christmas (2020) to other favorites like Everything Puppies (2024) and Love in Glacier National: A National Park Romance (2023), there’s a certain charm he brings to the films he leads on Hallmark. However, one film for him in particular holds a special place in his heart: A Royal Christmas Crush (2023). After all, it was working on this adorable holiday romance that he met his current partner Katie Cassidy.
Cassidy explained to Entertainment Tonight that after getting lunch with her co-star, they began bonding over crystals and discussing spirituality, initially setting off sparks, but there was a moment during filming that really solidified her feelings for him.
“I remember there’s this one scene in the barn where I literally am looking at him, and that was the moment for me. I’m not kidding you. I’m, like, leaning on the table and he’s saying his lines and I just like, I think I like almost fell over,” she dished to UsWeekly. Ironically, Huszar said that same scene is what set things off for him as well! We wish this adorable duo nothing but the best.
Chris McNally and Julie Gonzalo
Another duo that found love on the set of a Hallmark film are Chris McNally and Julie Gonzalo. Both actors have made quite a name for themselves on the network, McNally known for his work on the hit series When Calls the Heart, and Gonzalo beloved for her work in movies like Flip That Romance (2019), Pumpkin Pie Wars (2016) and more. However, it was on the set of their film The Sweetest Heart (2017) that the duo first got to know each other and today, it’s safe to say they’re happier than ever. Though they keep their relationship relatively private, the couple has shared with the world that back in 2022, they welcomed a beautiful baby girl together. Though we haven’t seen this adorable couple on screen together since 2023’s 3 Bed, 2 Bath, 1 Ghost, we hope we’ll get to see them shine side by side once again soon!
Erin Krakow and Ben Rosenbaum
Erin Krakow has become quite the Hallmark sweetheart over the last few years, starring in countless shows and films across the network. She made a name for herself on Hallmark when she began starring in When Calls the Heart, and since then, she’s brought to life lovely leading ladies in movies including Finding Father Christmas (2016), A Summer Romance (2019), It Was Always You (2021) and countless others. It was on her hit series When Calls the Heart that she even found her match in Ben Rosenbaum, who plays Mike Hickam. The duo went public on social media back in 2024, and we love watching their Hallmark romance unfold!
Kevin McGarry and Kayla Wallace
There must be something in the water on the set of When Calls the Heart, because Hallmark actors Kevin McGarry and Kayla Wallace also found love on the hit show! The two made their relationship public back in 2020 on social media, and since then, their love has blossomed quite beautifully: In 2024, McGarry confirmed that the couple had gotten married! Outside of When Calls the Heart, the adorable duo can be seen alongside each other on-screen in movies like Feeling Butterflies (2022) and My Grown Up Christmas List (2022).
