Kelly Reilly From ‘Yellowstone’ Joins Bourbon Brand to Prove Whiskey Drinkers Aren’t Just Cowboys
The campaign with Ammunition Whiskey urges: ‘Women drink whiskey too!’
Though her on-screen drink of choice might be vodka, Kelly Reilly—known for her fiery portrayal of Beth Dutton on Yellowstone—is breaking into a new arena: whiskey. The actress has teamed up with Ammunition Wines & Whiskey for her first-ever brand partnership, lending her creative insights and passion for the American West to the company’s “Soil to Spirit” campaign. Here’s everything you need to know about Kelly Reilly’s exciting new venture.
How did Kelly Reilly get involved in the whiskey business?
One of the biggest things that Reilly’s involvement with this brand seeks to do is celebrate the ladies and recognize that whiskey drinkers aren’t just cowboys—or boys in general. “It’s like a renaissance for women,” the English actress told Pioneer Woman of her new partnership. “Women have been drinking whiskey throughout time. I mean, I am Irish and English by lineage and my grandmother used to drink whiskey. I had never drunk bourbon before I came to the States and you guys drink it like tea. For me, it’s so part of the fabric of American western culture.”
The ‘Soil to Spirit’ campaign
Reilly will be taking the reins on the “Soil to Spirit” campaign, which “celebrates the journey from Earth to bottle and aims to reshape perceptions of women in whiskey,” said a press release put out by the company. A lot of that ties into the role that the American West plays in this brand—and it’s a world that Reilly has grown to be familiar with thanks to her work on Yellowstone, as well as her own personal hobbies and passions.

“I have always harboured a deep respect for the land and our natural resources. I was immediately drawn to Ammunition’s commitment to create a stand-out product with a brand identity rooted in the spirit of the American West. I’m thrilled to partner with Ammunition and contribute my experiences and perspectives,” she shared in the press release.
Why this campaign speaks to Kelly Reilly
For Reilly, it’s the experience of whiskey drinking as a whole that appeals to her and makes her so passionate about this campaign. From the creativity of “Soil to Spirit” which emphasizes the process in which the whiskey is made to the act of drinking and enjoying it, this partnership checks all of her boxes. “There’s something sophisticated and elegant about it and a little bit dangerous, which appeals to me,” she told Pioneer Woman of drinking this spirit.
When to try these products
While a date hasn’t yet been announced, the campaign is said to kick off in early 2025—what better way to start a new year?! The message behind this new endeavor, which emphasizes the role that women play in the whiskey world, is one we love, and we can’t imagine anyone better than Kelly Reilly to be the face of it.
