With its MTV-inspired aesthetic and unforgettable soundtrack, Flashdance is one of the movies that defined the ’80s, and over 40 years after it first hit the screen, it remains a dance-film classic that’s inspired countless homages. Read on to see rare photos from the set of Flashdance and revel in its stylish dance movie magic.
