We’ll never forget the stunning Victor Edelstein gown she wore to President Reaghan’s 1985 gala, while sharing a now-famous dance with John Travolta. The world was equally as captivated with Diana’s stunning style when she stepped out in an off-the- shoulder, aqua-colored dress in 1985. Paired with one of the Princess’ bejeweled headpieces, her look was a bold statement only the likes of royalty could truly pull off.

Still, the down-to-earth Princess knew how to keep it casual—all while looking beautiful, of course. Photographed with husband Prince Charles in 1981, Diana can be seen donning khakis, a brightly patterned sweater, and tall rubber rain boots.
