There’s something revieting about a good police drama, and if you’ve spent the past 14 years watching Danny Reagan chasing down criminals orFrank Reagan sit in his impressive office on Blue Bloods, you might be upset the series is coming to an end. But no need to worry, because we found eight more series that are perfect to watch in the absence of the CBS drama.

From similar crime dramas to hilarious takes on the genre, these eight series are exactly what you’ll need following the end of Blue Bloods.

1. FBI (2018-Present)

Take Blue Bloods and make them Federal Bureau of Investigation agents and you’ve got FBI. Agents Maggie Bell (Missy Peregrym) and Omar Adom “OA” (Zeeko Zaki) bring it all to the field, investigating cases and catching criminal masterminds. FBI brings a lot of excitement and tension as the agents and their co-workers set out to apprehend some of the most ingenious criminals out there.

2. Shades of Blue (2016-2018)

Starring Jennifer Lopez as Detective Harlee Santos, Shades of Blue follows a group of dirty cops, including Harlee, and her lieutenant (played by Ray Liotta). Harlee does what she must to give her daughter a bright future, but when she is caught by the FBI, she must decide whether to stay loyal to her friends or betray them.

3. Tracker (2024-Present)

Colter Shaw (Justin Hartley), a lone-wolf survivalist, uses his impeccable tracking skills to find missing persons privately apart from the law. Colter must solve the mysteries which lead up to these people going missing, all while dealing with his own past and family trauma.

4. NCIS (2003-Present)

Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs (played by Mark Harmon) of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) leads a group of very different individuals who work together to investigate and solve crimes. The group’s specialties range from murder to espionage and terrorism, and they work to get to the bottom of cases connected to Navy and Marine Corps personnel.

5. Chicago P.D. (2014-Present) 

The intelligence unit of the Chicago police department, led by Sergeant Hank Voight (Jason Beghe) is tasked with investigating and solving some of the city’s most horrific crimes, but in the midst of a changing criminal system, their job is not easy.

6. NYPD Blue (1993-2005)

NYPD Blue portrays the day-to-day lives of New York City cops, very similarly to Blue Bloods. As their work and personal lives intertwine, the police must work through to fight some dangerous criminals.

7. Law & Order (1990-Present)

New York City detectives and prosecutors work to get justice for victims of crimes committed in the city. While the police investigate different situations, the district attorney’s office builds a case to prosecute the criminals. These teams work together to get dangerous people off the streets and keep the residents safe.

8. Brooklyn Nine-Nine (2013-2021)

This police procedural sitcom puts a hilarious twist on the classic crime drama. Detective Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) has the best arrest record despite refusing to  work too hard at his job. But when Captain Holt (Andre Braugher) joins Brooklyn’s 99th precinct and begins hammering down the rules at the precinct, Peralta finds himself in competition with Detective Amy Santiago (Melissa Fumero), who is determined to beat his record.
