Other Krispy Kreme promotions to enjoy

If you don’t want to wait until Election Day for a sweet surprise, check out your local Krispy Kreme store for one of its Halloween specials going on right now. Today, on Halloween, you can grab a free Original Glazed Doughnut at participating locations when you wear a Halloween costume in-store.

Another fun spooky celebration at Krispy Kreme is the Krispy Kreme x Ghostbusters Collection, which offers your favorite characters from the movie in the form of a doughnut.

The treats offered include the Ghostbusters Cookies N’ Creme Doughnut, the Slimer Doughnut, the Ecto-Sprinkled Doughnut and the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man Doughnut Pull-Apart.

The cookies n’ crème doughnut is a delicious “doughnut dipped in chocolate icing, topped with Oreo pieces, a dollop of buttercream with Oreo and a No Ghost logo candy.”

The Slimer doughnut is an “unglazed doughnut filled with lemon flavored green filling, dipped in purple and green icing with a Slimer candy.”

If you’re looking for a more classic doughnut, try the Ecto-Sprinkled option, which is “an Original Glazed doughnut dipped in orange-colored icing and sprinkled with neon sprinkles.”

And a fun Ghostbusters option is the Marshmallow Man doughnut, which features Stay Put Marshmallow Man candy on top of the original Glazed powdered doughnut dots and marshmallow-flavored buttercream.

Chains with major Halloween deals

Krispy Kreme isn’t the only chain offering up holiday deals, as McDonald’s, Target, Chipotle and Burger King have shared their own versions of tasty Halloween treats recently.

Chipotle is taking part in the Halloween festivities with their $6 Boorito deal — customers can get one entrée item for $6 when they order in-store while wearing a costume. This deal is valid only on Halloween.

Burger King has dropped its Addams Family menu, which is available now through November 10. This menu includes the Wednesday Whopper, Thing’s Rings, Gomez’s Churro Fries and Morticia’s Kooky Chocolate Shake.

You can check out more Halloween deals at different food chains including Baskin-Robbins, Wendy’s, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut. Make sure to take a peek to see if your favorite restaurant or fast-food chain is offering a spooky deal before heading out to get a treat.
