Principal Tells Mom That Her Son ‘Made Her Day’ with the INSANE Item in His Backpack

Mom Ladye Hobson was pleased to hear that her 8-year-old son Brylan made his school principal’s day.

That is, until she found out the reason why he did.

Brylan had put a dead squirrel at the bottom of his school backpack–which the faculty discovered. And as Ladye explained in a viral Facebook post, her son had quite the explanation for why it was there.

She wrote, “When asked by the principal what possessed him to pick up this dead squirrel and store it in his backpack, my son replies with ‘I really wanted squirrel dumplings for dinner tonight.'”

Then, the principal asked Ladye if she actually wanted the squirrel to come home with him!

“Y’all, I had to explain that we are from the country, but we’re not THAT country,” she wrote.
