These Wrapped Presents Had Documents Inside, But Here’s Why These Kids Thought They Were the Best Gifts EVER
Give a school-age child a box full of papers on Christmas and his reaction? Likely a combination of confusion and disappointment. But in this special case, a box with papers was EXACTLY what this boy wanted.
In a video taken Christmas morning 2014 that’s only now touching hearts around the world, a foster child and his two younger biological siblings are opening presents on a couch with the other kids in their foster family. Although one of the other children correctly guesses what’s inside a fairly flat box, the moment the gift is revealed is still magical. The oldest foster child quickly realizes why his present contains a stack of documents. They’re adoption papers, and he, along with his little siblings, are officially joining the Perks family. Forever.
