Is it too soon to start thinking about Christmas? Dollar Tree doesn’t seem to think so. The retailer has rolled out a Christmas glassware collection of $1.50 cups with a lid and straw, in four festive designs, and for a limited time, online orders ship free. They’re the latest dupe of Anthropologie’s Icon Glasses, which cost around $16 each. Here’s what to know before you stock up.
First, what is the Dollar Tree Christmas glassware collection?
Over the past few months, a number of retailers have been selling glasses featuring designs specific to the season. In the summertime, stores were selling versions with fruit, sunglasses, flamingos, beach balls and more. For Halloween, the designs shifted to pumpkins, ghosts, witches and bats. Originally, the drinkware was sold under the name “Icon Glasses” at Anthropologie. They cost around $16 each and were widely popular.
Since then, other companies, including Costco, Target and even Dollar Tree began selling dupes of the glasses for a fraction of the price. Naturally, these dupes took the internet by storm, with customers raving about how excited they were to finally have these glasses in their hands.
Now, Dollar Tree, is selling these glasses with holiday designs.
Earlier this month, Dollar Tree released their new Christmas glassware collection with a fun twist: They’re easier to take on the go, since they each have a lid and a straw.
The designs featured on the glasses—which the company calls Christmas Theme Jar With Lid And Straw—are a red bow on a white glass, a Christmas tree on a green glass, a snowman on a white glass and a gingerbread man on a brown glass.
“Want to look for drinkware that will keep your child excited and also help them stay hydrated at the same time? You are in the right place. Get the Christmas-themed jar with a lid and straw now. With the Christmas season around the corner, what better way to stock them up at your home and wait for your kids and nephews and grandchildren to have them,” reads the company’s description of the product. “The Christmas Theme Jar With Lid And Straw is cute, adorable, and sturdy and it is a must-have in every household.”
