9 Festive Cats in Wrapping Paper Who Prove They’re Truly the Best Present You Could Receive
Seeing our precious cats fast asleep in wrapping paper is one of our favorite sights on Christmas morning. Usually, they move in once the kids have torn into all their presents and the living room is littered with scraps — aka the perfect cat bed. As much as you want to clean up the leftover paper, you don’t want to disturb the sleeping angels.
There are a number of explanations as to why cats love sitting on wrapping paper — or any paper, for that matter — so much. It could be that they’re initially attracted to the sparkles, glitter, and crinkling sounds of Christmas wrapping paper and want to claim ownership. After all, everything your cats can see is basically theirs — including you. It could also be that cats enjoy sitting on paper because it’s a good insulator.
Whatever the reason, there’s nothing cuter than cats in wrapping paper. Whether they’re taking a cat nap or batting around a balled-up scrap, we love all their antics. It’s too bad Christmas only comes once a year! Keep scrolling to see the funniest, most adorable photos of cats in wrapping paper.
