Is Your Star Sign the Most Accident Prone?

Is how accident prone you are written in the stars? It is, according to home insurance analysis by insurer Policy Expert, which looked at how your star sign and occupation affect your chances of claiming.

Living up to the ‘bull in a china shop’ image, Taurians — particularly those that are teachers, housewives, or retired — should take extra care to ensure they’re covered against accidental damage this year, as they are the most likely to claim on their home policy.

Conversely, Scorpios are the least accident prone, with Scorpio hairdressers, electricians, and sales reps among the least likely to claim.

When it comes to the value of claims however, Leos cause the greatest damage at £1,905 ($2,253), claiming for the most expensive fires, floods and accidents — up to nearly £800 ($946) more than the more cautious Aquarians.

Adam Powell at Policy Expert says: “Whether you believe in horoscopes or not, it’s worth making sure you’re properly insured. And always make sure you’ve checked the small print in your policy to ensure it includes accidental damage, especially if you’re a Taurian!”
