Pit Bull Refuses to Leave Pound Without Chihuahua Friend
You don’t need to be a dog-lover (though if you are, even better) to feel emotional about this picture, which illustrates the BEST case of a “two in one” adoption we’ve heard.
Apparently, this pit bull was living at an Australia dog rescue facility, where he’d taken a small, frightened chihuahua under his wing. When it came time for the pit bull to be adopted, he simply wouldn’t budge: He wasn’t going anywhere without his adorable little chihuahua pal, and that was that.
So, what’s a prospective parent to do? Adopt them both, of course. This photo was taken just after the two bonded-for-life buddies left the dog shelter to start their new life together with their adoptive family. We couldn’t be happier for this dynamic duo, and we wish them the best!
