Miranda Lambert Reveals Her Plans for Having Children
Miranda Lambert, the winner of this year’s Female Vocalist of the Year award at the Academy of Country Music Awards earlier this month, is opening up about whether or not kids are in her future.
The country singer and unabashed animal lover is the mother of a motley crew of 18 dogs and cats. Can you imagine the amount of shedding that happens at her house? Yikes! So is her enthusiasm for adding furry kids to her family going to translate to furless kids with her boyfriend of more-than-a-year Anderson East? Fans want to know.

Well, in an interview with Rare Country, the “Vice” singer shared her go-to response when folks ask if she’ll have kids in the future.
“When people say, ‘Are you having children? I’m like, ”I do,’” she said. Very sneaky!
If you, like Lambert, consider your pets family, then the singer and her boyfriend have definitely expanded their family together, but not in the traditional sense. In March, she and East adopted three cats—a kitten named Bobbi McGee and two cats named Nick Saban and Bear Bryant. East, who must be an Alabama Crimson Tide fan, was in charge of naming.
Lambert, 33, who was previously married to country star Blake Shelton, doesn’t have any biological kids, but, according to E!, she might be ready to start trying with East.
“She wants to get married again and have children soon,” a source E!. “That has been an open conversation between her and Anderson. He wants the same.”
“Miranda is very happy with Anderson. They have gotten very close. Her friends think this is the guy for her,” the source added.

Do we hear wedding bells soon?
Well, whether or not the country crooner decides to tie the knot with Anderson, there’s no doubt about the happiness a furry friend can bring to a family. We’re sure she’s content, at least for now, with her 18 fur-babies.
