Longtime Hallmark fans may remember the handsome Dan Jeannotte from his time apart of the cast of Good Witch. These days, however, the 42-year-old Canadian actor has worked his way up the ladder to leading man status across a number of Hallmark films, his newest one, Falling in Love in Niagara, premiering on Friday, April 20 at 8/7c!

The early career of Dan Jeannotte

Some of Dan Jeannotte’s earliest roles were in short films including Flamousse (2006) and Speakeasy (2007), with parts in television series such as Sophie, Being Human, Dark Matter, Beauty and the Beast, Fargo and more.

By 2015, he had a recurring role in Hallmark’s The Good Witch, and consistent television work continued to come his way with roles in Reign and The Bold Type. His most recent recurring television role came in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, where he played the part of Lieutenant George Samuel “Sam” Kirk.

Over the years, Jeannotte’s talent has been recognized by the public, for he received the ACTRA Montreal Award for Outstanding Performance in a Video Game in 2015.

5. The Royal Nanny (2022)

Claire (Rachel Skarsten) is an MI5 agent who goes undercover to protect a family of royals when a threat against them is revealed. Her undercover alter ego is that of a Royal Nanny, allowing her to guard the youngest members of the family.

Receiving specific royal training ahead of her duties, it isn’t long before she grows close with the family she’s set to protect, specifically, Prince Phillip (Dan Jeannotte).

4. Our Christmas Mural (2023)

When Olivia (Alex Paxton-Beesley) loses her job at an art museum, she and her son return to her hometown for the holidays, spending time during the season with her parents. When her mom, unbeknownst to Olivia, enters her in a holiday mural contest, she’s surprised to learn that she wins.

Facing an artistic block, she teams up with local teacher and runner-up of the mural contest, Will (Dan Jeannotte), who unexpectedly helps her find her spark — and she just might even fall for him in the process.

3. Paris, Wine and Romance (2019)

When Isabella (Jen Lilley) inherits her family’s winery, she has bigger dreams than just being a local label. When her uncle enters one of their wines into a competition in Paris, Isabella makes the leap to the city of love to take her family’s brand to hopefully, new heights.

While in France, she meets Jaques (Dan Jeannotte). Despite being one of her competitors, a romance starts to bloom between them. However, a misunderstanding at the competition in which she believes he was talking poorly about her wine sends Isabella back to Oregon — but Jacques won’t give up that easily.

2. Sweeter Than Chocolate (2023) with Dan Jeannotte

Lucy’s (Eloise Mumford) chocolate shop is rumored to make a special type of chocolate — If you eat one, you find true love. When TV reporter Dean (Dan Jeannotte) hears of this, he sets out to investigate the phenomenon and debunk the myth.

As Dean conducts his research, he gets to know Lucy better — and she forces him to reassess his more pessimistic views on love.

1. Sense and Sensibility (2024) with Dan Jeannotte

When Elinor and Marianne’s father passes away, the women must leave their current home for a more modest living situation. Elinor (Deborah Ayorinde), who is the more practical of the two sisters, falls for Edward Ferrars (Dan Jeannotte).

Meanwhile, her sister Marianne (Bethany Antonia) is uninterested in her neighbor who is pursuing her, favoring the more exciting option.

Falling in Love in Niagara (2024)

When Maddie (Jocelyn Hudon) is dumped by her fiancee, she and her sister decide to still embark on the honeymoon the couple had planned to Niagara Falls. While there, she meets Mike (Dan Jeannotte), her tour guide who she has a rocky start with.

As they spend more time together, Mike encourages her to stray from the carefully laid out itinerary she had planned to see what other adventure awaits.
