You Can Score an Actual Piece of Dollywood (Including a Classic Car!) in Upcoming Auction

Anyone who’s ever visited Dollywood probably also wished they could take a piece of it with them when they left. Not just a keepsake from the gift shop, but an actual part of the park. Well, you may be in luck: Officials just announced that various items will soon go up for sale. We’re talking about park decorations, antique furniture and fixtures, and even some incredibly impressive classic cars!

More specifically, you’ll find items like cast iron flower pots, Christmas decorations and trees, a weaving loom, water fountains, fencing, wooden barrels, chicken coops, and more. Plus, those aforementioned cars include Ford Thunderbirds from 1956, 1957, and 1976, a 1976 Chevrolet Corvette, and 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle.

Considering Dollywood is unloading enough surplus stuff from their warehouses to fill three buildings, there will definitely be countless other treasures up for grabs. Take a look below for a sneak peek:

You can check out even more goodies on the Bear Land Realty and Auction website. The agency is running the sale along with Kennedy Real Estate and Auction. They assure potential buyers that all items have either been carefully maintained or preserved in their original boxes.

There is one catch: The sale is happening in Sevierville, Tennessee (near where the park is located). It doesn’t seem like anything will be listed online, but if you happen to live in the area, you might be able to land a truly one-of-a-kind purchase! The sale begins May 8 at 3173 Newport Highway in Sevierville, starting at 10 am. You can also preview the items in person on May 7 at the same location between 11 am and 6 pm.

Fun fact: Did you know Dolly Parton never gets on any of the rides at Dollywood? She hilariously explained, “I have a tendency to get motion sickness. Also, I’m a little bit chicken.” We’re sure the country doesn’t want to see her wigs suddenly flying off in the air, either. Of course, there’s still plenty to enjoy at the theme park without the rides — like the adorable decor that can now be part of your home, too.

Just imagine being able to wow your neighbors this holiday season with a Christmas display straight from Dollywood — or riding around town in one of those classic cars!
