Forrest Gump Cast Then and Now

The **Forrest Gump_ cast* will always have a special place in our hearts, no matter how much time passes by. Of course, actor Tom Hanks was unforgettable in the starring role, but even lesser known actors like Hanna Hall, who played Forrest Gump’s Jenny— the younger version, who gives one of the most famous line’s in the film (“Run, Forrest, run!”)–made an indelible mark in our memories.

We can hardly believe that it’s been 23 years since this movie first began winning hearts in 1994. Is it us, or is Forrest Gump one of those classic movies that stays with you forever? And believe it or not, many of the Forrest Gump cast members–even the lesser known actors–are still working in Hollywood–so they may still be familiar to you today.

We all know Tom Hanks is still working in Hollywood, along with Sally Field, who played Forrest’s mom, and Robin Wright, who played Jenny when she was all grown up. Both of those women look quite different today! And Hanna Hall, young Jenny, is also still acting, as is Mykelti Williamson, who played Bubba Blue. Their faces have changed so much, but they’re still as familiar as they were in 1994.
