Hallmark Is Airing a Christmas Movie Marathon to Help Us Feel Merry While Stuck Inside

We really could use a little Christmas spirit right about now.

The holiday season may be long over, but Hallmark Channel has decided to bring back all of those cozy tidings of comfort and joy with an early marathon of their most beloved Christmas flicks.

We know it feels like the channel airs its annual Countdown to Christmas earlier and earlier each year, but this time it’s for an extra-special reason: Keeping us all entertained while stuck inside due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) and social distancing.

According to a press release, the company received so many requests from fans to see their favorite festive feel-good movies that they just couldn’t say no! The channel has dubbed this impromptu marathon We Need a Little Christmas — and we certainly can’t argue with that sentiment right about now.

The marathon won’t debut any new films, but will include 27 of their most beloved holiday movies with stars like Candace Cameron Bure, Lacey Chabert, Holly Robinson Peete, Danica McKellar, Chad Michael Murray, and more.
