Kathie Lee Gifford Shares Sweet Bible Verse About Motherhood After Son’s Wedding

Despite all the ups and downs of 2020, Kathie Lee Gifford is counting her blessings after watching both of her children tie the knot over the summer. The former talk show host shared a poignant Bible verse about motherhood on Twitter to express just how grateful she is for the reasons to celebrate:

She also posted a photo from her son Cody and actress Erika Brown’s recent nuptials saying, “God gave us a glorious day to celebrate this glorious couple. So grateful.”

According to People, Cody and Erika started dating back in 2013 before finally walking down the aisle. Clearly, after such a long time together, they weren’t going to let a pandemic stop them from sealing the deal! They kept the ceremony safe and small with a gathering of just their parents and siblings.

Proud mom Kathie Lee had the same level of happiness for her daughter Cassidy when she said “I do” to husband Ben Wierda in June.

It was also a small celebration with just close family members, but Kathie Lee was clearly still over the moon as she posted a pre-ceremony photo of Cassidy posing on a tractor saying, “When the mother of the bride can’t contain her joy!!!”

Weddings are always happy occasions, but we’re sure both ceremonies felt like especially bright spots during such a tumultuous year. Aside from the pandemic, Kathie Lee recently mourned the loss of her longtime friend and co-host Regis Philbin. There’s no doubt the retiree and empty-nester appreciated the chance to spend quality time with her children and her loved ones.

Although the ceremonies had to be on the smaller side due to the pandemic, they obviously made a big impact on Kathie Lee and the rest of their families who were able to attend! We can’t think of a better way to make lemonade out of all the lemons this year has dolled out.

Cheers to the happy couples!
