One of the best parts of the holiday season is all the wonderful food. Unfortunately, this also makes holiday weight is a real thing. Thankfully, there are ways to keep looking and feeling your best without depriving yourself of your favorite dishes. Melt away pounds and boost your holiday confidence—no diet or exercise required!— with these pro-approved beauty tricks. Keep reading for six ways to look slimmer instantly!

Slim fuller cheeks with heightened hair

Building body into hair directs focus up, visually elongating the face so cheeks look slimmer, says celebrity hairstylist Kiyah Wright. Her tip: Place rollers down the center from front to crown to lock in va-va-volume.

TRY IT: Create a middle part, then wrap a 2″ section of hair at the hairline around a Velcro roller (like Drybar High Tops Self-Grip Rollers, $10, Sephora); repeat, moving back along the part—three rollers should suffice. Let sit for 10 minutes, then unroll and set with hairspray.

Flatten the belly with dry brushing

The massage-like motions of dry brushing stimulate the body to flush out fat-trapping toxins and fluids, says plastic surgeon Anthony Youn, M.D. Adding seaweed oil (it speeds the production of fat-burning enzymes) will give you a svelte-looking middle in no time!

TRY IT: Apply 3 drops of seaweed oil (like Repêchage Essential Oil of Seaweed, $34 with code WW15 at checkout, Repechage) to the belly, then massage with a dry brush (like EcoTools Dry Body Brush, $4.99, Amazon) in clockwise motions for 2 minutes.

Firm bat wings with this kitchen-cure mask

Slathering on a mix of egg whites (they’re rich in proteins that improve skin elasticity and encourage the activity of fat-burning enzymes), cucumbers (their vitamins boost skin-firming collagen production) and yogurt (it gently exfoliates) helps arms look smooth and taut fast.

TRY IT: Puree half of a cucumber in a blender, then mix with 2 egg whites and ⅓ cup of plain yogurt. Apply to upper arms; let sit 20 minutes, then rinse.

Erase a double chin with contouring

“Sweeping bronzer that’s two shades darker than your skin below the jawline creates a slimming shadow,” says celebrity makeup artist Amy Zdunowski-Roeder. “It instantly makes a double chin recede!”

TRY IT: Dust a brush with a matte bronzer (like Milani Silky Matte Bronzing Powder, $8.99, Amazon), sweep it along the underside of the jaw and blend down to the neck.

Shrink cankles with a salty lemon soak

Compounds in Epsom salts absorb into skin, boosting circulation to alleviate swelling, while diuretic lemon dispels the excess water that causes ankles and feet to look puffy.

TRY IT: Soak feet in a basin with warm water, ½ cup of Epsom salts and 2 Tbs. of lemon juice for 15 minutes; rinse.

Shed two more sizes with shapewear

Target trouble spots and look trimmer in seconds with shaping undergarments

Trim hips and thighs: Long-line shaping shorts made from a blend of nylon and spandex, like Skims Sculpting Short Above the Knee ($36, Skims), rein in the belly, hips and thighs while smoothing any lumps and bumps.

Beat back bulges: A tank bra that has a double layer of silky fabric, like True&Co. True Body V Neck Bra ($49, TrueAndCo), smooths back rolls while its wire-free, molded cups offer ample support in front.

Lift a droopy bottom: Panties with padded inserts, like Leonisa Magic Benefit Instant Butt Lift Padded Boyshort Panty ($37, Leonisa), prop up the rear and restore its natural-looking rounded volume.
