The 2023 Golden Globes took place on Sunday, Jan. 7, 2024. Some of the biggest names in Hollywood walked the red carpet before attending the awards ceremony honoring the best in movies and television, including Ted Lasso star Hannah Waddingham and Saltburn actress Rosamund Pike. Both women are in their 40s and had glowing skin as the cameras flashed. Find out how they got their signature glow as explained by celebrity makeup artists Stephen Sollitto and Melanie Inglessis, plus where to get the skincare products so you can achieve the same look at home!

IMAGE Skincare Used to Create Hannah Waddingham’s Golden Globes Red Carpet Look

Golden Globes Red Carpet Skin: Hannah Waddingham

Renowned makeup artist Stephen Sollitto is known for working with celebrities like Christina Aguilera, Amy Adams, and Sandra Oh. IMAGE Skincare, the number one selling professional spa and salon brand in the United States, was used to prep Waddingham’s skin for this year’s Golden Globes.

“Hannah has unbelievable skin,” Sollitto said. “But for any big award show skin prep, no matter how good you look, is so important to the overall look on the carpet. I suggest starting with Image Skincare’s I MASK hydrating hydrogel sheet mask.”

Sollitto loves that it’s filled with a blend of amino acids, antioxidants, and soothing aloe vera. “This will leave the skin feeling dewy,” Sollitto adds. “Once off I let the skin dry first before I start with my serum.”

Next, Sollitto applied Image Skincare’s VITAL C Hydrating Anti-Aging Serum. “Serums deeply penetrate the skin prepping for moisturizer,” Sollitto explains. “With Hyaluronic Acid this Vitamin C Serum helps lock in hydration and smooth out fine lines.”

Sollitto also used Image Skincare’s VITAL C Hydrating Intense Moisturizer and the VITAL C Hydrating Eye Recovery Gel on the 49-year-old actress. “Under-eye skin is a bit thinner so it deserves its own product,” says Sollitto.

“Now Hannah’s skin is ready for makeup,” the makeup artist concludes. “Once done and right before she leaves I spray her face with Image Skincare VITAL C Hydrating Facial Mist. This antioxidant Vitamin C spray will shield the skin from environmental stressors and leaves the skin fresh and ready for the carpet.”
