With Halloween just around the corner and spooky season in full swing, grocery stores are already running low on their candy stocks. But no need for tricks quite yet—if you still need to fill your candy bucket, it’s not too late at Dollar Tree—where you can find plenty of name-brand sweets for a sweet deal, too. Here’s what we snagged for less than $5 on our latest shopping expedition.

Dollar Tree is one of the best places to shop for low-priced, quality items and Halloween candy is no exception.
You can snag larger bags of name-brand sweets at Dollar Tree for $3.50. There are choices of SpongeBob SquarePants Krabby Patties Pretty Patties, Sour Punch Twists and Airheads mini bars. The bags of Krabby Patties come with 18 pieces, while the Sour Punch Twists are available in a 60-count bag and the Airheads come with 28 pieces in a variety of flavors.

Name-brand candy for less
Here’s more good news: Most of Dollar Tree’s candy doesn’t exceed $1.25. You can find name-brand candy—such as Kit Kats, Reese’s Pumpkins, Airheads Sour, Smarties and Tootsie Rolls—for that low a price. You can also find nostalgic candies like Cow Tales minis, the gooey vanilla cream-filled caramels that you used to love as a kid. Dollar Tree offers them in the traditional flavor, as well as Caramel Apple and Honey Bun.
If you want to hand out something other than your average candy, Dollar Tree also has options like a 12-pack of Sunkist fruit snacks for only $1.25. Those come in flavor options of sour citrus, as well as berry blast for something a bit sweeter.
Carry your candy in style
As long as you have your candy, all is well and good, but you’ll always need something to carry your load home in.
