Find out everything you need to know below about the first 2026 Lowe’s Member Week and how to participate in the giveaway. Plus, learn more about the other perks that come with being a rewards member.

What you can get during Lowe’s Member Week

Throughout the year, Lowe’s holds special savings events to give its loyal customers a chance to earn freebies. Not only do these giveaways include extra rewards points and discounts, but they usually come with a fun complimentary item or two, as well.

To kick off this particular Lowe’s Member Week Event, you can receive $5 in MyLowe’s money or a special discount code like 20 percent off a purchase up to $100. There are prizes for the little ones in your life too! They could snag a key chain, coloring book, crayons or a mini blue hard hat that says “MyLowe’s Rewards Kids Club.” This tiny hat is just as cute as the iconic Lowe’s teeny tote!

How to claim your member’s week freebies

Ready to score these goodies? You’ll want to make sure you’re a MyLowe’s rewards member. This loyalty program is completely free to join and the perks last far beyond these special events.

Sign up for the program, then visit your local Lowe’s on Saturday, January 10, 2026. The giveaway is happening in-store only while supplies last, so you may want to make an early trip to ensure you walk away with one of the prizes.

If you arrive after the freebies run out, you’ll still have access to Member Week discounts on everything from appliances to home decor. Check out the Lowe’s app to view all of the potential savings.

Being a Lowe’s loyalty member means plenty of chances to save! To make sure you earn points, you’ll need to enter your phone number at checkout or use the Lowe’s app to scan your Member ID in your wallet. (For online purchases, simply make sure you’re signed into your account before placing your order.)

Eligible purchases earn you points, which are eventually converted into MyLowe’s money. For example, 500 points is equal to $5 in MyLowe’s rewards money. You can then use that money toward future purchases!

Wondering how much you need to spend to earn points? Your membership status—which is determined by the total amount you spend at the retailer during a single year—affects how many points you earn per dollar. Here’s how the tiers break down:

  • Bronze ($0-$49)
  • Silver ($500-$1,999)
  • Gold ($2,000 and up)

Silver and gold offer free shipping, but being a member of any of the three tiers will get you points that lead to MyLowe’s money! For bronze, you’ll earn 1 point per dollar, 1.25 points for silver, and 1.5 points for gold. As soon as you’ve reached 500 points, that’s converted into spendable cash.

Other Lowe’s deals happening now

Though you’ll have to wait to collect your Member Week Freebies, you can snag some deals at the retailer in the meantime. The store is currently hosting its Closeout Event, which offers the final savings for the year.

Current deals include Christmas decorations marked down 50 to 75 percent, smart thermostats for $80 off, mini fridges discounted by $279, and washer-dryer combos with $1,000 savings. Check out the Lowe’s website to see if it’s a great time to buy something you’ve been eyeing!
