Key Takeaways

  • Dollar Tree summer decor finds include Art Deco gems like beveled mirrors and coupe glasses.
  • You’ll find Great Gatsby-style treasures hidden in kitchen, home decor and party supply aisles.
  • Layer multiple Art Deco pieces together for a curated look that costs under $15 total.

On my last trip to Dollar Tree, it felt like my Art Deco-loving late grandmother was leaving little treasures for me hidden throughout the store. Items with Great Gatsby flair were nestled in the glassware section amid the home decor, even with the party supplies. Nothing cost more than $2—a price tag my gram would heartily approve of—and every piece felt magical. If you also enjoy the Art Deco movement’s signature bold geometric lines and gleaming metallic accents, these Dollar Tree summer decor finds are going to delight you.

What is Art Deco style—and why is it having a moment?

Before we dive into the finds, a quick refresher: Art Deco is a design movement that reached its glamorous peak at the 1925 Paris Exposition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts. Think sleek geometric shapes, sunburst motifs, symmetrical lines and luxurious materials like chrome, glass, silver and gold. It’s the aesthetic that gave us the Chrysler Building and the most glamorous cocktail parties of the 1920s and ’30s. Art Deco design is about adding luxury to everyday objects, which makes finding it at Dollar Tree feel like a true steal.

The 5 Art Deco Dollar Tree summer decor finds you need to see

Beveled mirrors with gold and silver accents, $1.50 each

These are new at Dollar Tree and the first thing that caught my eye. With their classic Art Deco lines and gleaming gold and black accents, they look like they came from a 1930s Hollywood dressing room. Hang a cluster of them on a gallery wall or prop one on a shelf for instant glamour.

Coupe-style glassware, $1.50 each (or 33¢ apiece for plastic!)

Nothing says Art Deco like a coupe glass. Dollar Tree’s version is a gorgeous red pebbled motif that’s perfect for a champagne cocktail or any drink you want to make fancy. Oh, and if you’re hosting a summer party, grab the plastic champagne coupes: a 6-pack is $2, which works out to a mere 33¢ apiece. Your guests will feel so posh!

Hammered glass bottles with ornate Art Deco stoppers, $1.25 each

Textured bottles with showstopping stoppers are a true Art Deco signature piece, and the Dollar Tree version does not disappoint. And at this price point, you can pick up several to create an elegant display on a bar cart. Or fill them with colored water for a stunning centerpiece.

Handheld folding fans as wall decor, $1.25 each

Adorned with delicate butterflies, these fans are reminiscent of the ones Art Deco gentlewomen used to keep cool at soirées. They’re charming as functional accessories, but open a few up and arrange them on a wall for a whimsical, Art Deco-inspired display that costs almost nothing.

Art Deco napkin holder, $1.25 each

These clean, long lines mean even the table accessories were giving me Art Deco vibes. Perfect on a mirrored tray to hold napkins. Or you can get creative and use it on a hall table to hold mail or on a dressing table for your stash of face masks or even your iPad. It’s the kind of small detail that makes an entire tablescape ultra-chic.

How to style your Art Deco Dollar Tree finds this summer

One of my favorite things about Art Deco is that it layers beautifully. Try grouping the beveled mirrors above a console table, flanked by the hammered glass bottles filled with white flowers. Set your table with the coupe glasses and napkin holder and tuck a butterfly fan into a vase as a centerpiece accent. The result looks curated, intentional and expensive—and your total investment? Probably under $15.

Remember these finds were spotted across multiple sections of the store, so don’t just head to one aisle. Check the glassware section, the home decor aisle and the party supplies area. Inventory varies by location, so if you don’t see them at your first store, it’s worth checking another. And if you find any treasures that I missed, please tell me about them in the comments!
