Hubble Just Relaunched Its Flagship Daily Contact Lenses With a More Comfortable Upgrade
They feature a redesigned edge, 57% water content and a focus on all-day comfort.
If wearing contacts is part of your everyday routine, you know the little annoyances can add up, from dry eyes to lenses that don’t feel quite right by the end of the day. Now, Hubble is refreshing its flagship daily disposable lens with the launch of Classic 2.0, a next-generation version designed with comfort, hydration and affordability in mind.
The new lens officially launched nationwide on Aug. 5 and builds on Hubble’s original daily disposable, which the company says has been worn by millions. Classic 2.0 is made with Hioxifilcon A, a high-water-content hydrogel material and contains 57% water to help maintain hydration throughout the day.

What’s New About Classic 2.0?
One of the biggest updates is the lens design itself. Classic 2.0 has thinner edges designed to reduce friction against the eyelid, making blinking and inserting the lenses more comfortable. The lenses are also PFAS-free and FDA-approved for daily wear.
And because convenience matters just as much as comfort when you’re ordering something you use every day, Hubble delivers Classic 2.0 directly to customers through its subscription program. You can manage your deliveries online, including adjusting or skipping shipments or canceling your subscription, while Hubble offers free shipping.
The company is also leaning into affordability with its new “Affordable Contacts. No Compromises.” platform. Hubble says its lenses can cost up to 30% less than comparable brands when you sign up for a subscription, making quality daily contacts easier to access without paying a premium.
Classic 2.0 is currently available through Hubble, with a 30-lens, one-month supply listed at $30 per eye; new customers can also see a 10-day starter-pack offer when entering a prescription.
If you’ve been considering switching up your daily contacts, Classic 2.0 could be worth asking your eye-care provider about, especially if comfort, hydration and a more convenient ordering experience are high on your list.
Contact lenses are medical devices. A current prescription and proper fitting from an eye-care professional are required; availability and suitability vary by prescription.
