Longevity clinics are becoming one of the fastest-growing corners of wellness travel and preventative health, and the price tags are climbing right along with the hype. An estimated 800 longevity clinics now operate across the U.S., offering advanced testing, regenerative therapies and personalized programs designed to help people live longer, healthier lives.

Patients are paying anywhere from a few hundred dollars to five-figure annual memberships for access to full-body scans, genetic testing, hormone optimization and anti-aging treatments. Supporters say the model puts them in control of their health years before disease shows up. Skeptics point out that most of these services are not covered by insurance and have not been proven to extend lifespan.

What longevity clinics actually do

Most longevity clinics begin with a comprehensive evaluation that goes well beyond a standard physical. That workup can include CT, MRI and DXA scans, blood panels, cognitive testing, fitness assessments and full genome sequencing. The goal is to spot disease risk early and build a long-term health plan around prevention rather than waiting to treat illness after it appears.

From there, programs branch into personalized care: hormone balancing, IV therapy, regenerative medicine, nutrition guidance, stress management and, at some clinics, stem cell or peptide therapies. Patients often report feeling more energized and more in control of their health. Experts caution, however, that many of these treatments are expensive, lightly regulated and not yet backed by long-term outcome data.

How much longevity clinics cost

Pricing is one of the biggest reasons longevity medicine remains a luxury category. Initial diagnostic assessments at more accessible clinics can start around $500, while concierge-style memberships at the top of the market run well into the tens of thousands of dollars per year.

Programs typically scale based on how much testing, imaging and ongoing physician contact a patient wants. A basic entry point at one clinic might be a few thousand dollars, while a flagship membership at another can include whole-body MRI, advanced cancer screening, hormone therapy and round-the-clock concierge access. Insurance generally does not cover any of it.

The 5 best longevity clinics in the U.S.

The U.S. market is crowded, but a handful of clinics stand out for their scale, diagnostic technology and national footprint. Here are five of the most prominent.

1. Fountain Life

Fountain Life is considered one of the leading longevity clinics in the U.S., with a focus on disease prevention through advanced diagnostics and personalized care.

Main services include whole-body MRI scans, genetic testing, comprehensive health assessments, hormone balancing, stress management and regenerative medicine, including stem cell therapy. Pricing starts around $20,000 per year depending on the services selected. Fountain Life operates flagship clinics in New York, Florida and Texas.

2. Synergy Life Centers

Synergy Life Centers focuses on making longevity care more affordable and accessible by combining medical diagnostics with holistic wellness programs.

Services include IV therapy, metabolic and genetic testing, hormone balancing, detoxification programs and personalized wellness plans built around nutrition, fitness and stress management. Initial diagnostic assessments start at $500, while wellness programs range from $1,500 to $5,000 depending on customization. Locations include California, Texas and Florida.

3. Restor Longevity Clinic

Restor Longevity Clinic focuses on reversing the effects of aging through advanced diagnostics, preventative care and cellular regeneration.

Services include cardiovascular and metabolic evaluations, early detection testing, hormonal balance therapies, nutritional support, stress management and anti-aging treatments. Initial consultations and diagnostics start at $1,200, with personalized programs ranging from $4,000 to $12,000. Locations include Los Angeles, Miami and Dallas.

4. Next Health

Next Health has locations across the U.S. and internationally, including New York City, California, Texas, Arizona and Washington.

Services include therapeutic plasma exchange, executive physicals, hormone optimization, EBOO therapy, ozone therapy, NAD+ therapy and IV therapy.

“I wanted to reimagine how patients interact with the healthcare system,” Dr. Darshan Shah, CEO and founder of Next Health, said in a statement on the company’s website. “Our model is based around being a more active participant in your own health. It is so encouraging and humbling for me to see people come in every day saying, ‘You’ve changed my life.’ and that’s what gives us the drive to move forward and do more with Next Health.”

5. Human Longevity, Inc.

Human Longevity operates locations in San Diego and San Francisco, with a heavy emphasis on precision medicine and early detection. Its website describes its services as: “Early detection across 1,000+ conditions — from hereditary cancer risk to cardiovascular disease, neurodegeneration, and metabolic disorders.”

Costs range widely, from $4,200 to more than $150,000 per year depending on the level of care. The top-tier annual membership costs $19,000 and includes advanced testing, concierge primary care, behavioral health recommendations, hormone therapy and peptide therapy.

“Our first responsibility to our clients is to make sure you don’t walk off a cliff with something that you had no idea that you had but that’s totally preventable and curable,” Dr. David Karow, former president of Human Longevity, told The New York Times in January 2025.

“Precision medicine is all about treating risk, not disease,” he said. “But, before we ever stick a needle in somebody or refer somebody for a consult or follow-up, we want to make darn sure it’s something concerning. And by having all of these data, we can do that.”

Are longevity clinics worth it?

That depends on what a patient is looking for — and what they can afford. People who use longevity clinics often describe feeling more energized, more informed and more in control of their long-term health. Advanced imaging and genetic testing can flag risks that a typical annual physical would miss.

The catch is that most longevity treatments are expensive, not covered by insurance and not yet proven to extend lifespan. Some interventions, such as hormone therapy or stem cell treatments, carry their own risks and are still being studied. For now, longevity medicine sits at the intersection of cutting-edge science and high-end wellness — promising for those who can pay for it, and still finding its evidence base for everyone else.
