Pineapple rind removes calluses.
Using the flesh side of a strip of pineapple peel, buff calluses for one minute; rinse. Together with the buffing, the fruit’s bromelain (an enzyme that breaks down the keratin that calluses are composed of) quickly dissolves the hard spots.

Avocado shell smooths heels.
Take the empty shell from half of an avocado and rub onto each heel for about five minutes; let residue absorb, then rinse. The fatty acid–infused pulp deeply moisturizes the thick layers of dry skin while the rubbing sloughs off any dead cells.

Lemon pulp whitens nails.
Cut a juiced lemon into wedges and use the flesh side of one wedge to scrub nails for one minute; rinse. The fruit’s citric acid lifts away any yellow pigment in nails, and its vitamin C brightens, further enhancing the whitening effect.
