Disney Villains Take Over Bath & Body Works—With Scents as Wicked as Maleficent Herself

Disney fans, we have some wickedly delicious news for you. The beloved fragrance and lotion store Bath & Body Works is officially releasing a line inspired by everyone’s favorite Disney Villains, including the ever-frightening Maleficent from the 1959 film Sleeping Beauty. We have everything you need to know about the collaboration below, including the villains included and when and where you can expect to purchase these delightfully evil cosmetics.
What to know about the Bath & Body Works Disney Villains collection
Fresh off the success of the Bath & Body Works Disney Princess line, the company decided to launch more fairytale fragrances—this time in the form of everyone’s favorite vicious villains, The Evil Queen from Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs and Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty.
According to a press release obtained by Woman’s World, the Evil Queen scent “enchants with a captivating blend of Dark Red Apple, Wicked Pear, and Vanilla Suede—a scent that’s fresh, warm, and undeniably addictive. Dark Red Apple evokes the sweetness of forbidden orchards, while Vanilla Suede wraps you in so.”
It will be available in several different forms, including candles, body wash, fragrance mist, a shimmer mist, lip gloss, laundry detergent, body cream, hand sanitizer and a plug-in wall scent. There will also be fun add-ons like a “Magic Mirror Body Care Tray” and a “Poison Apple 3-Wick Candle Holder” available for purchase as well.
For the Maleficent lovers out there, her products will excite with “a rich, mysterious fusion of Sinister Plum, Midnight Berries, and Mystical Woods. Sinister Plum layers deep plum nectar and skin with a hint of dark rose, creating a complex, alluring base. Midnight Berries introduces a bewitching twist—black tea notes swirled into a vibrant medley of blackberry, strawberry, and raspberry. Finally, Mystical Woods brings it all together with shimmering cedarwood and creamy cashmere musk, leaving a sultry, unforgettable impression.”
This scent will also come in candles, body wash, fragrance mist, body cream, lip gloss, laundry detergent, hand sanitizer and a plug-in wall scent. Her collection will also include a “Dragon & Castle 3-Wick Candle Holder”, a “Crow and Septer Soap Dispenser” and a “Dragon Scale Cosmetic Bag.”
Release date: When can you buy the Bath & Body Works Villains line?
The villains collection is expected to become available at all Bath & Body Works stores across the country on Wednesday, September 3. However, if you are a Bath & Body Works Loyalty Member, you can shop the collection online beginning August 26.
As of publication, it is unknown how long the villain’s collection will remain available— so you’ll want to act fast. It also remains to be seen if they’ll add any other villains to the collection—like Ursula from The Little Mermaid, Lady Tremaine from Cinderella, Cruella from One Hundred and One Dalmatians or Mother Gothel from Tangled. One thing is for sure: this something wicked is bound to go fast!
