Buck Henry

NUMBER OF OF TIMES HOSTING SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE: 10

JOINED THE FIVE-TIMERS CLUB IN: November 1977

THOUGHTS ON SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE: “I did suggest repeating certain characters, which didn’t seem to me exactly revolutionary since every comedy I’ve ever been involved with, including movies, depends on repetition of a kind.  I know Lorne [Michaels] has given me credit for saying that he should do certain characters over and over, but if I hadn’t, then someone else would have—it was so obvious.”

BEST SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE SKIT: Chase is best known for being the first-ever “Weekend Update” host.

Christopher Walken

NUMBER OF OF TIMES HOSTING SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE:

Because you’d be backstage — you have literally split-second costume and wig changes and makeup changes.”
