The upcoming Baywatch reboot is stacked with new faces, with Stephen Amell taking the lead alongside Jessica Belkin, Noah Beck, Brooks Nader, Shay Mitchell, Livvy Dunne and more. The cast combines both Hollywood newcomers and familiar faces you may have caught on your screens before. But unfortunately, one face you aren’t likely to see join the series is Pamela Anderson.
“No one’s reached out to me,” the 59-year-old actress revealed to Deadline. “I don’t know much about it. I know that they were talking to my sons at some point about producing, but I don’t think they had a meeting of the minds. I’m not sure what happened there, but I wish them well. It was a great job, and I loved going to work every day on the beach. I would have been there anyway.”
She continued, “At the time, it taught me a lot, and it gave me worldwide exposure. Everything I’ve done has led me to here, which is a blessing. But I have no plans of going back to Baywatch.”
As for whether or not she’s thought about the future of her character, C.J., for the time being, she’s enjoying taking on new and unique projects she never anticipated coming her way.

In the last few years, Anderson has carved out a unique path separate from her past. In 2024, she shined in The Last Showgirl and soon, audiences will watch her in the twisted family drama Rosebush Pruning.
“I felt like I had dug a hole for myself when I was younger. It was great to be able to be in these popular TV shows and get all this attention. Then the way my personal life went and how it became tabloid fodder, I couldn’t see a serious film career for me or anyone offering me a dramatic role,” she shared with Deadline.
In 2022, however, she played Roxie Hart in Chicago on Broadway, and the following year, folks got to see a different side of her in the documentary Pamela, A Love Story. Since then, she’s been living her life and navigating her career on her own terms, and while we might not catch her in the Baywatch reboot, there’s certainly a lot in store for her.
