Turning 70 can be intimidating, but not if you’re Kris Jenner! The media mogul and “Momager” recently sat down with podcast host Jay Shetty for his show, On Purpose with Jay Shetty, where she detailed how she’s enjoying her 70s. Find out why she calls this decade “the best chapter.”
Kris Jenner is happy to be 70
Kris Jenner was the most recent guest on Shetty’s podcast, which features conversations to “make you happier, healthier and more healed.” Jenner and Shetty discussed her early life, family and what she’s looking forward to now that she’s 70.
When asked what she would title this new chapter of life, Jenner responded, “The best. The best chapter. I’m happy to be here and to really have this beautiful family and just enjoy the ride.”
Jenner spends her days surrounded by many famous faces—including her daughters Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, Kendall and Kylie, her son Rob, her partner, Corey Gamble, her 13 grandchildren and more—and she told Shetty she’s excited to experience this chapter of life with them all by her side.
“My life is really focused on family and my friends,” she said, adding, “My relationships mean so much to me. For me right now, it’s about my family, my grandchildren, my kids and my health.”
What Kris Jenner is looking forward to
Many might fear entering a new decade or wonder “what’s next?” when turning 70, but Jenner is loving every minute of it. And she’s excited to continue moving forward in her career.
Jenner told Shetty she gets her work ethic from her mother and grandmother, who she always looked up to while growing up. Her mother, Mary Jo Campbell, owned a children’s clothing store for decades.
“I did learn a lot from my family…my mom often says—she retired when she was 82—and she often says that really kept her so purposeful. And we all want to find that life of purpose.”
Kris Jenner celebrated her 70th in style
For her recent 70th birthday, which she celebrated on November 5, Kris Jenner had a massive star-studded celebration. The bash was inspired by the James Bond/007 film franchise and was over-the-top, even for a Kardashian-Jenner event, according to sources.
“One of the very best nights of my entire life,” Jenner wrote about the party on social media. “I am beyond blessed and so very grateful for my precious family and friends!”
Sources shared details about the Momager at her birthday party, explaining, “[She was] excited about turning 70 and you’d never think she is 70… she looks amazing, but it’s her energy that stands out. She has this nonstop enthusiasm for life.”
