Everyone knows Nick Lachey. Whether it’s for his work in the hit 1990s boy band 98 Degrees, his time as the Love is Blind host or his super sweet romance with his wife Vanessa, Nick is truly a household name. Which is why Woman’s World recently caught up with the 51 year old to learn more about his career, the 98 degrees reunion and so much more. Read on for more.

Nick Lachey spills on the 98 Degrees reunion

98 Degrees is a hit 1997 boy band composed of Nick, his brother Drew Lachey, Jeff Timmons and Justin Jeffre, perhaps best known for their 1999 holiday album This Christmas—which has sold over two million copies and is considered one of the most successful Christmas albums ever.

And now, almost 30 years later, not only has the band reunited to release a brand new album, but they’re also gearing up to go on tour once again.

“It’s called Full Circle and it has five of the biggest hits of our career.  So we re-recorded those, and now own the masters, which is really special for us, because those songs define you. They’re really a part of who you are, and the thought that someone else controls that music just felt wrong to us. And so Taylor Swift kind of opened everyone’s eyes to why that’s important to do and I wouldn’t be surprised if you see a lot of other artists do the same thing,” Nick said.

“Then, in addition to those five re-records, you have five new original songs as well. I’m really proud of the album; I think it’s great,” he continued. “Full Circle pays homage to where we’ve been and where we are and where we’re going, and then we’re also doing a handful of shows around the country over the next few months as well.”

On top of that, Nick also shared “Invisible Man”  was the hardest track to re-record, but that, “funny enough, they all were hard because your voices have changed over the years. We tried to get them as close as we could to the originals, but the way I sang in 1997 is certainly not the way I sing in 2025.”

“It’s just a very different sound, so it was hard to go back and recreate those musically. Sometimes it was hard to find even the instrumentation we used back then, because a lot of that stuff is outdated now, so was trickier than I anticipated it would be to go back and kind of make it sound like it did back in the day. I would say there’s subtle differences, for sure.”

Nick Lachey talks ‘Love is Blind’ Season 9

Aside from singing, Nick is also very well known for hosting the hit Netflix dating show Love is Blind alongside his wife Vanessa. The show is currently gearing up to debut its ninth season and like the rest of us reality TV show fans, Nick cannot wait.

“I can tease that it takes place in Denver,” he shared. “To be honest, after Vanessa and I kicked the season off, we met everybody in the lounges. That very first day we’re not there to see the ins and outs of the season, so we’re as interested as anybody else to see how it all played out. We know the ending and I certainly am not going to tease that here. I can’t give that away, but how we got there, the storylines and all the drama that happens along the way, we’re not there to see. So we’re as excited as anybody else to sit down before the reunion and watch the full season and get ourselves prepped to host that reunion.”

Nick Lachey talks about his love for pets

Like so many of us, Nick loves his pets. In fact, he loves them so much that he decided to team up with PurinaOne to launch its new video series, LiveClear, Love Clear, which highlights three real-life couples that have had issues with both their dating lives and cat allergies.

“Relationships are hard enough to negotiate, but then you take in cat owners and find out the cat allergens oftentimes are the biggest obstacle they face in a relationship. So I was drawn to the campaign, because what Purina LiveClear, Love Clear has done is provide a parachute for that,” he said. “If you are sensitive to cat allergens and you’re in a relationship with someone who has a cat, you know that that changes the way you view that relationship a little bit. And that just seems unfair. And so what a great opportunity to take that out of play, and really focus on the connection at hand instead of choosing between love and your pet.”

Thankfully, though, he said that when it comes to him and Vanessa, that was never a problem.

“Vanessa and I, when we first started living together and dating, we got a dog, Wookie, who’s, sadly, no longer with us. But I think pets are great. They teach you so much about yourself. They teach you patience. It’s kind of a great trial run before you have kids,” he said. “Pets are amazing and the love you have for them is real. So, I understand why someone would say, ‘Hey, it’s me or the cat.’”
