Meghan Trainor is bringing the catchy charm once again — this time with an unexpected collaboration with NFL superstar Patrick Mahomes!

The Grammy-winning popstar stars in a brand-new State Farm commercial alongside none other than Super Bowl-winning quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the beloved Jake from State Farm. The ad is a playful, music-filled spot that blends humor and heart, all while delivering the insurance company’s signature “like a good neighbor” message.

In the commercial, State Farm explains why having any insurance isn’t the same as having State Farm insurance — just like calling for an athletic trainer and getting Meghan Trainor instead. In a hilarious twist, Meghan belts out a reimagined version of her hit “All About That Bass,” turning it into “All About That Brace,” complete with bouncy beats and athletic tape choreography, all while proving to be completely unhelpful to Mahomes. Jake from State Farm finally cuts in: “So don’t settle for just any insurance when there’s State Farm,” as Meghan joyfully dances in the background.

The on-set moment shared with her son

The light-hearted ad was a blast for Meghan to film — and it was even more special because she got to share it with someone very close to her heart.

“I got to bring my 4-year-old son on set, who didn’t really know what was going on,” Meghan tells Woman’s World in an exclusive interview, “but there are pictures of me holding him because he cried every time I went to the set. And I was like, ‘Mommy’s in a commercial!’ and he was like, ‘Let me do it with you!’”

Laughing, she adds, “I felt like a Boss Queen being there doing something so iconic, while having my son watch me. I just never felt cooler. Make sure you don’t settle with any insurance, and you get State Farm!”

How motherhood inspires her daily

Meghan, who stays busy and active with her two sons — Riley, 4, and Barry, 2 — also shared what truly makes her feel like a true superstar: the everyday magic of motherhood. “An everyday moment that I love with my sweet boys is when it’s nighttime and we’re cuddling, and they fight over who gets to cuddle with me,” she says with a smile. “I feel like the coolest girl ever, and they love me so much. And that’s the best thing!”

What inspires Meghan the most

But when it comes to women who inspire her, Meghan didn’t hesitate to name names — and one is very close to home. “My mom is a soldier and a superhero,” she says. “She’s the most selfless person there ever is. Learning to take the time, energy and power to take care of your mental health and yourself first — for the first time, in her 50s — my mom is doing it. That’s the hardest thing to ever do, and it’s inspiring to me in my 30s to finally pause and take moments for myself.”

Meghan also points to motivational speaker Mel Robbins and her recent book Let Them as another source of empowerment. “It changed my life,” she says simply.

The State Farm commercial marks Meghan’s first major ad campaign with the company, and fans are already loving the unexpected trio. With back-to-school and football season just around the corner, the timing is perfect. And who knew insurance could sound this catchy? Meghan Trainor just might be your new favorite jingle queen. Don’t miss her bright smile and hilarious antics on your TV screen next!
