The singer recently met the most recent addition to his family, baby girl Elsie Skylar Stewart, just one day after his daughter Kimberly announced that she is pregnant with her second child, a boy! Rod Stewart meets his newest granddaughter Elsie
On Monday, March 17, the British musician, 80, reshared a sweet photo that his wife Penny Lancaster, 54, posted on Instagram of the pair meeting two-week-old Elsie, the daughter of Rod’s son Liam Stewart and his wife Nicole.
“So proud to meet little Elsie, what an angel,” Lancaster captioned the photo slideshow. “Nicole, Liam and Louie have their baby girl joining them in their new home and how harmonious they are.”
Louie, who will turn two years old in May, is Elsie’s big brother and Liam and Nicole’s firstborn.

On March 16, Rod’s daughter Kimberly Stewart took to Instagram to share maternity photos and reveal that she is expecting her second baby, a son. The actress and model gave birth to her first baby, Delilah, in 2011. She shares Delilah with Academy Award-winning actor Benicio del Toro.

It seems the Have I Told You Lately singer is loving the way his family is continuing to expand.
Delilah is Rod’s eldest grandchild, and he’s been enjoying life as a grandfather since the day she entered the world. The Grammy winner was the first to publicly announce his granddaughter’s name in an interview with USA Today, during which he sang the name Delilah.
“I’m a grandfather now,” he told the outlet, per E! News. “I’ve been going around blabbing that out for hours now.”
“My joy is indescribable,” he continued.
Rod is a father of eight. He has four daughters, Renee, 32, Ruby, 37, Kimberly, 45 and Sarah, 61, and four sons, Aiden Patrick, 14, Alastair Wallace, 19 (both of whom he shares with Lancaster), Liam, 30 and Sean, 44. In addition to Elsie, Louie and Delilah, he’s also a grandfather to Ruby’s son, Otis, born May 2023.
In a 2021 interview with People, Rod opened up about having eight children and why he felt it was important to parent each of them uniquely, stating that he had to adjust his approach to fatherhood since his kids vary in age.
“What makes me happiest now is seeing all my kids and my wife with big smiles on their faces,” he gushed to the outlet.
