Sam Page has taken Hallmark by storm
Sam Page has been acting on the Hallmark Channel for over a decade, the actor first making his debut back in 2011 opposite Maria Thayer in Annie Claus is Coming to Town. In the film, he played the struggling owner of an old-fashioned toy store, and his performance immediately stole hearts.
The actor took a bit of a break from the Hallmark world after his debut on the network, going on to make guest appearances in series such as Mad Men, House of Cards and Switched at Birth, but when the timing was right, he landed back where he was meant to be.
Sam Page starred in 2016’s All Things Valentine where he acted opposite Sarah Rafferty. Set against the backdrop of the most romantic time of year, Rafferty plays an advice columnist dealing with an anonymous reader leaving negative comments on her blog. Meanwhile, out from behind the screen, she connects with Page’s character, a handsome veterinarian—though neither of them realize they’ve actually already connected in an unexpected way.
His Hallmark resume gradually expanded to include more heartwarming romances like The Perfect Christmas Present (2017), Royal New Year’s Eve (2017) and Christmas in Rome (2019), which he starred in opposite Lacey Chabert, and in 2021, his Hallmark film One Summer allowed him to showcase his range beyond that of a dashing romantic lead.
Of his time being a part of the Hallmark family, Page had nothing but positivity to share. “It’s pretty great and I am very grateful to look back on a decade with Hallmark and look at the success we’ve had,” he told Media Village in 2021. “It’s a wonderful feeling to work for a company that really values and cares about their casts, crews and everybody that works on their projects. Then to also get the validation and support of the fans…It’s just the best of all worlds.”
Sam Page’s recent projects and Great American Family crossover
Sam Page’s most recent stint on Hallmark was in 2023’s Rescuing Christmas followed by 2024’s Deck the Halls on Cherry Lane, and last holiday season, he made a jump over to Great American Family. It was there where he brought to life There’s No Place Like Christmas opposite Cindy Busby, and the actor will return to GAF once again for yet another project with the network. As part of the Great American Christmas 2026 lineup, Page will star opposite Danica Mckellar in The Christmas Yes List.
McKellar stars as a people pleaser who returns home for the holidays after being passed up for a promotion. Setting out on a mission to confront her fear of rejection, she crosses paths with James (Sam Page), who alters her journey.
