‘I Love You More Than Anything’: How Kelly Osbourne and Sid Wilson Went from Friends to Fiancés
The friends-to-lovers have never looked more adorable!
Kelly Osbourne is engaged! That’s right, after the curtains closed on her father Ozzy Osbourne’s last Black Sabbath show, Kelly’s longtime boyfriend Sid Wilson got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. The entire exchange was then documented on Kelly’s Instagram, where she can be seen looking incredibly shocked, confused and happy. To celebrate this joyful news, we have decided to take a trip down memory lane and look at how exactly Kelly and Wilson met, fell in love and became parents. Read on for more.
A look at Kelly Osbourne and Sid Wilson’s love story
Kelly, 40, and Wilson, 48, first began dating in January 2022, after being friends for over 20 years. They originally met in 1992 when Wilson’s band Slipknot toured with Ozzfest, a music festival created by Kelly’s parents, Ozzy and Sharon.
“After 23 years of friendship, I can’t believe where we have ended up,” she wrote on Instagram on Valentine’s Day, 2022. “You are my best friend, my soulmate and I am so deeply in love with you, Sidney George Wilson.”
Following that, the two then announced that they were expecting in May 2022, and in November of that year, they welcomed their son Sidney into the world.
“I don’t remember life before having the baby because everything has changed. I didn’t realize just how powerful the feeling of love was [going to be] when you have the baby,” Kelly told US Weekly in November 2024. “It’s the most … addictive feeling I have ever felt. You realize in that one second, ‘You’ve given me purpose like nothing has ever given me before.’ I don’t think I had a purpose. I went from thing to thing to thing, and this level of self-hate and self-doubt that I used to have would just take me out.”

Kelly announced her engagement on Sunday, July 6, by posting a video on Instagram. In it, Wilson can be seen getting down on one knee and then telling his now fiancée, “Kelly, you know I love you more than anything in the world…Nothing would make me happier than to spend the rest of my life with you. So, in front of your family and all of our friends, Kelly, will you marry me?”
She, of course, said yes, which isn’t surprising since in that same conversation with US Weekly, she said, “I know Sid really wants to get married, so we will get married. It’s not as important to me. I’ve worn so many beautiful dresses and had so many moments that have been just about me, so that whole idea of a big day isn’t as important to me.”
She also shared that she “definitely wants more babies!” and that “Never in a million f—-ing years did I think I’d end up with a rock star partner, but I did.”
Previously, Kelly was engaged to chef Matthew Mosshart in 2013, but they later called off the engagement. Wilson, on the other hand, has never publicly been engaged.
