Trisha Yearwood, 61, Is Busier Than Ever—Here’s an Update on Her Bar, Recipes and Marriage to Garth Brooks

Last night, Trisha Yearwood took the stage at the ACM Honors, delivering a beautiful performance of “Every Girl in This Town.” She also presented the Lift Every Voice Award to Leslie Fram, who helped launch CMT’s Next Women of Country program and co-founded Change the Conversation and Nashville Music Equality. And this wasn’t Trisha’s first ACM Honors moment. In 2024, she was honored with the prestigious ACM Icon Award, adding another well-deserved milestone to her remarkable career.

Trisha is kept busy with her Nashville bar

Trisha Yearwood and Garth Brooks opened the doors to Friend in Low Places in 2024, a honky tonk bar located in Nashville, TN. Trisha, a skilled cook who hosted Trisha’s Southern Kitchen for years on The Food Network, created the menu for the establishment, and since they opened the doors, she’s been hands-on.

Throughout the summer, she’s taken to Instagram to share promotions going on at the bar, from free hotdogs on the Fourth of July to yuletide celebrations for Christmas in July.

Trisha’s Southern Kitchen concluded back in 2022 after 17 seasons, but that doesn’t mean her love of food and passion for cooking has diminished. Trisha has teamed up with Williams Sonoma for a collection of cocktail mixes, meal starters and more inspired by some of her favorite dishes, and on the Williams Sonoma website, fans can see how Trisha uses these products to bring these tasty treats to life.

For example, see how Trisha makes classics like fried chicken tenders, BBQ pork sliders and summer cocktails. In Trisha’s collection, you can shop everything from her sweet coffee cake mix to her Peach BBQ Pulled Pork Starter. 

Are Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood still married?

Despite the ongoing legal controversy and allegations surrounding Brooks, which began in 2024, Yearwood has continued to stand by her husband publicly, appearing alongside him at events and sharing moments from their life together.

Earlier in the summer, Garth was given the Artist of a Lifetime Award by the Recording Industry Association of America, and Trisha was at his side as he celebrated the win. This evening, Garth kicks off his Blame It All On My Roots Tour in Indianapolis, IN, and there’s a good chance Trisha will be showing up to support him along the way.
