Faith-based films can be hard to come by, but on a network like The Hallmark Channel, telling stories that include messages of hope is nothing out of the ordinary. With the holiday season in full swing, a heartwarming story of faith is always welcome, but these Hallmark movies are good enough that they can be viewed any time of year. Here, take a look at some of our favorite faith-based Hallmark films.
The Gift of Peace (2022)
Nikki DeLoach stars as Traci, a Christian woman who, after the death of her husband, loses her faith while dealing with her grief. Joining a support group in the hopes of finding the spark she’s lost, she’s surprised to learn that it’s faith-based. Apprehensive about moving forward, the leader of the group (Brennan Elliott) convinces her to stick it out throughout the holiday season and give things another chance. As the days progress, Traci might just find the faith, as well as the passion, she had lost along the way.
Love, Lights, Hanukkah! (2020)
Right before the holidays, with the help of a DNA test, Christina discovers she’s Jewish. As Hanukkah approaches and she connects with a new part of herself, she comes to embrace this new element of faith, the traditions and family that come with it.
An Easter Bloom (2024)
This uplifting Easter film of hope tells the story of Amanda, played by Aimee Teegarden, known for her work on Friday Night Lights. The young gardener enters a flower arrangement competition during the Easter season and grows close with the son of the veteran florist she’s working with, Derrick, played by Benjamin Hollingsworth. With the help of Derrick, who happens to be the local minister, Amanda finds a renewed sense of faith during the holiday season, reinvigorating her hope.

Miracle in Bethlehem, PA (2023)
With dreams of being a mother, a woman named Mary Ann finds her prayers answered when she’s blessed with the opportunity to adopt a baby. Making her way to Bethlehem, PA ahead of the holidays to meet her child for the first time, bad weather forces her to extend her stay. When the local inn, however, is all booked up, the owner suggests she stay with Joe, the innkeeper’s brother. Story sound familiar yet? As this duo spends more time with one another during the holiday season, they connect in ways they didn’t anticipate. Starring Laura Vandervoort and Benjamin Ayres.
The Blessing Bracelet (2023)
A woman finds herself in a tough spot as she navigates life as a single parent while also working her way out of debt her ex-husband left her with. During these difficult times, she rediscovers a blessing bracelet she made many years ago, with each bead serving as a reminder of the good in her life. This new approach of counting each of her blessings reinvigorates her faith and sense of hope. Simultaneously, her church community and a male suitor make this new season of life one she never saw coming.
