“Better Man” by Little Big Town was penned by country-turned-pop sensation Taylor Swift

Though she no longer falls under the country music category, some tend to forget that it’s the genre in which Taylor Swift found her footing—and even as a teen, she was a force to be reckoned with. Swift passed “Better Man” along to Little Big Town, who released the song in 2017, and their rendition is a hit to this day. “I Can’t Do That Anymore” by Faith Hill came from Alan Jackson

As famous as he is as a singer is Alan Jackson as a songwriter. The 66-year-old country icon has penned countless tunes that have been recorded by artists other than himself, one of them being Faith Hill’s 1996 song.
