While Ella and Riley might have linked up a time or two to collaborate, at the end of the day, this duo is nothing more than friends. While their work together has a certain magic to it, their song “Don’t Mind If I Do”, even being nominated at the ACM Awards for Music Event of the Year, both parties have cleared the air, stating that it’s nothing more than friendship between them. 

“Ella’s probably too smart to date me anyway,” Riley joked on an episode of The Viall Files. “But I think that’s kind of the country music fan, like, they love the Tim McGraw and Faith, and the George and Tammy. And when we first started having the success we did with that song, I kinda told Ella, I was like, ‘There’s gonna be a lot of things said, but I mean, you don’t really have to play into it or not play into it, its gonna be something people enjoy the same way we do when we go listen to those songs.’”

A few weeks ago, Ella Langley and Morgan Wallen joined forces on a new track, “I Can’t Love You Anymore,” and country music fans have been loving it. On top of this, Ella will join him at a handful of stops on his Still the Problem Tour this summer. While some have celebrated the chemistry between these two, it seems like this relationship is strictly professional. “I think that’s just kind of one of the things about the job that’s not the best part, but we are in the entertainment industry, so it’s something I have to get used to, I guess, until I get married,” Langley joked with KNIX Country about the constant dating rumors.

Ella Langley appeared on Theo Von’s podcast, This Past Weekend, earlier in the year, and fans were quick to notice their chemistry and rapport.
