While Knach, a conservation officer at the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR), posed for his official photo, Kenobi couldn’t contain his excitement. Officer Knach tries to keep a straight face, but as Kenobi snuggles up to his parter and licks his face, Knach eventually breaks into a smile.

Even though Kenobi looks like a playful puppy, make no mistake: the pair “enforce the law with a vengeance.” But other than that, “both of them are entertaining and loaded with knowledge and experience. If you get a chance, book these two for a Public Appearance at your local event…..they are both AWESOME,” Indiana’s DNR Facebook page says.

And if you’re lucky enough to live in Indiana’s Second District, you just might catch a glimpse of Officer Knach and Kenobi. As an employee of the DNR, Knach protects our natural resources and keeps nature-goers safe.

This is certainly the cutest law enforcement officer we’ve ever see!
