What to know about the new Chrisley family show
People announced the Chrisley’s new family show on May 21. As of publication, it doesn’t have a title, but it is expected to premiere on Lifetime. According to the network’s logline, the show will follow the siblings as they face “the challenge of carrying on the Chrisley name and legacy on their own with only phone calls and brief visits with their incarcerated parents.”
“While Savannah maintains custody of her younger siblings, Chloe and Grayson, she has been fighting tirelessly for a Presidential pardon to free her parents,” the description continues. “Meanwhile, Chase is addressing some life struggles while building his new business and navigating his relationship with girlfriend Jodi.”
The show is also expected to expose “the raw truth of their lives—past and present—and the reality is far different from what audiences have seen before,” because according to Lifetime,“The Chrisleys don’t know best anymore, but they’re doing their best to be there for each other.”

“The family faces a critical point in their lives that will either make the family bond stronger or leave it shattered forever. This series delivers an unfiltered, deeply personal look at their journey and introduces the real Chrisleys as they navigate this new chapter.”
Currently, there is no word on when the show is expected to air or how many episodes there will be. There is also no information on how Lifetime plans to deal with Todd and Julie’s imprisonment or whether they will be allowed to film inside the jail.
Where the Chrisley children stand with their parents
In 2022, Todd and Julie Chrisley were convicted of bank fraud and tax evasion. He is currently serving 12 years in prison, and she is serving seven. Despite this, though, the two have remained quite close with some of their children, who even go as far as to praise their parents on social media.
“Thank you for being the mom that every girl dreams of having. For a lot of people, you only exist in fairytales, but for me. YOU’RE my real-life angel. You have a heart that is full of love and kindness. Mom. You are magnificent,” Savannah, 27, wrote on Instagram in January 2023. “You are the most beautiful woman I know. Your beauty is more than skin deep. You ooze such extravagant love for humankind that it radiates from every part of you. There have been times in life to where I’ve hit rock bottom, and you’ve saved me. Time and time again…you show up. Thank you for being my superhero. Thank you for teaching me love, kindness, grace, and understanding.”

Grayson, 19, has also posted about his love for his parents on Instagram, writing in June 2023, “I thank God every day for letting me have an amazing dad like you. I love you forever and always.”
Both Savannah and Grayson are expected to be in the show. Based on the description provided above, they will most likely be seen visiting their parents in the Georgia prisons where they are being held and discussing their relationships with them.
