Red Lobster’s Doing Free Delivery for One Day Only — And Throwing in Biscuits Just Because
What could make Mondays better? Free delivery from Red Lobster, that’s what! And lucky for you, everyone’s favorite seafood chain is doing just that to celebrate National Just Because Day on August 27. (National Just Because Day is a wonderful little holiday that gives you the opportunity to do whatever you want without a real reason, just because!) But wait — the deals just keep getting better: In addition to free delivery, Red Lobster is also throwing in six free Cheddar Bay Biscuits with every order.
To take advantage of free Red Lobster delivery, you’ll have to order your grub through Door Dash, an online food-delivery service. You can visit the Door Dash website to see if there’s a participating Red Lobster near you that will deliver to you. In July, Red Lobster and Door Dash expanded their partnership to more than 300 Red Lobster locations, so there’s a good chance there’s a store near you. You can also snag this offer through the Door Dash app. But be warned: This is a one-day-only special. After August 27, there will be a small fee for delivery, and we’ll all have to go back to dreaming about extra biscuits.
Fortunately, we’ve got a hunch that more good news is coming. Red Lobster’s Endless Shrimp deal usually begins in the fall, which means we shouldn’t have to wait much longer to stuff ourselves silly with all the many kinds of shrimp Red Lobster has to offer. No matter your preference, look forward to as many servings as you can handle of their three classic shrimp dishes: shrimp linguine, hand-breaded shrimp, and garlic shrimp scampi. (Our mouths are watering just thinking about it.)
Last year, Business Insider sent two reporters to Red Lobster to decide once and for all whether the Red Lobster Endless Shrimp deal was truly endless. Their record was 325 pieces of shrimp split between the pair. This year, we’re hoping we can come just as close!
